If you plan on storing your vehicle for more than 30 consecutive days, it’s important to prepare it properly for storage. Give the vehicle a thorough clean, both inside and outside. Change the oil and oil filters. Fill up the tank and add a fuel stabiliser to the fuel. Make plans to keep the battery charged either by using a battery keeper or by visiting the stored vehicle regularly and taking it out onto the road. Elevate the vehicle to prevent flat spots from forming on the tyres. Finally protect the vehicle from the elements by storing it indoors or by using an appropriate cover.
